8: Christ MC SOY - 22 Feb 13

It was full house @ the CMC "Songs of Yesteryears" Fellowship yesterday. The live band in attendance was The East Winds led by Albert Wong of PMC. See videos of the East Winds: East Wind 1 and East Wind 2

Richard Toh announced the birthday of Kenneth Tan and it was celebrated with others whose birthdays fell on the same week with a cake and a prayer from Pastor David.

The highlight of the day was a sermon by Rev David Gwee who spoke on God's everlasting love, drawing examples from the theme of the day: "Songs from the movies".

Guest artiste was Veronica Young, a visitor from France. See video of her performance

There was also a quiz on the day's theme. It was conducted by Albert Ong from PMC. A spontaneous singer took the floor and sang an old Mario Lanza favourite: "I'll walk with God." See video here.

The fellowship concluded @ 5.30pm with refreshments in the church canteen.

7: PMC GYM 20 Feb 13

The GYM fellowship started at 3pm on a cheerful note with Aloysius Tan with his guitar leading the worship team. Carol played the keyboard while Harold the ukelele. Grinn Liang danced solo gracefully.

The highlight of the day was a sermon by Pastor Lawrence Khoo who spoke on Psalm 23.

After refreshments prepared ny Pauline Ong, the GYMers went on to play recreational games and line dancing.

The session ended at 6.30pm.

6: PMC GYM CNY Lunch - 17 Feb 13

PMC GYM celebrated CNY with a lunch at Ubin First Stop Restaurant @ Changi Village. The new PIC Rev Lai Kai Ming graced the occasion. About 60 people attended the function.

5: PMC GYM - 6 Feb 13

Today's GYM fellowship started promptly @ 3pm with Aloysius Tan leading the worship team. Here's a video of the vintage song segment. To view the video, click here
The highlight of the day was a sharing by Ps Siew Chye on the Beatitudes.
Refreshments prepared by Pauline Ong comprised pork porridge, kuey kosui and barley dessert.
After eating their fill, the GYMers relaxed in their favourite activities: line dance, chess, rummy-0 and karaoke.
The fellowship ended before 6pm as the venue had to be prepared for the LCEC meeting.
